About XJ

Hi, my name is XJ Selman and I’m a writer. There’s a 99.9% chance that you’re here because you saw my blog on my Cracked articles, and a .1% chance that I forced you to look at my site because, why not. I would look at yours, or at least tell you that I looked at it.

I spend my days thinking about writing and my nights trying to write. I like to write and work in any genre that interests me; contemporary, sci-fi, fantasy, action, dystopian, and even erotica if there’s a big enough carrot (which is a horrible way to describe that, I know).

As for work, I’ve written several articles for Cracked for nearly the last year, and I can dish content out pretty quickly. I’m also open for copy-editing (which is something a lot of self-published books need), and I charge reasonable fees at fast times. If you’d like me for either of those, I’d be more than happy to provide a sample before anything else. Feel free to email me at xjselman@hotmail.com.

Thank you so much for reading, and if you ever enjoy something I write, please remember to share it; because sharing is caring, and caring makes the world go round. Or something like that.

  1. 1) Loved the Cracked article.
    2) I’m thinking of trying my hand at writing a book myself, so it’s interesting to see your perspective. Good luck!

  2. Yes, I found you through the article about “5 Scientific Reasons You’re Better Off Being Unattractive” – great article! The line that made me really look you up was, “Evolution knows what it’s doing, which is why you’re not in charge of it.” Thanks for writing – you’re a good read.
